Cadillac is reportedly considering offering more powertrains in the new Escalade beyond the current 6.2L V8. According to brand manager David Schiavone, Cadillac is currently mulling over a sportier Escalade Vsport model in addition to turbo-diesel V6 and twin-turbo V6 powered versions.
By offering more engine options, the Escalade would obviously attract even more buyers. A turbocharged V6 would also help the Escalade compete with the Lincoln Navigator, which is now offered exclusively with a twin-turbocharged 3.5L V6 engine.
