BMW’s upcoming 1-Series is one of the more anticipated models that will be going on sale early next year. BMW has already released the full specs on the two initial models that we will receive here, the 128i and the hot 135i. The one thing the automaker hasn’t spoken about is the pricing.
Well according to Motor Authority the BMW 1-Series is going to start under $30K. The 230HP 128i will start under $30,000 while the 300HP 135i will start in the mid-$30,000’s. Premium automakers are at a risk when they release lower end models and that is why Lexus has vowed to not break the under $30K threshold. BMW could change that way of thinking with its new 1-Series when it hits showrooms early next year.
