Yesterday Chrysler announced a recall of 77,000 Chrysler Sebring Convertibles and Dodge Avenger sedans due to door latch problems. 2008 Avenger sedans are also being recalled due to faulty fuel tank retention straps that could break and cause fuel to leak out. Now Chrysler has announced that 102,000 Avengers and Sebrings can catch on fire if the fan motor comes in contact with engine coolant.
