New reports are surfacing that Mazda is working on a new four-seat coupe version of the next Mazda6.
The next-generation Mazda6 is set to be released in January 2013, but according to What Car? the coupe version will not debut until about a year later in 2014. The coupe version is expected to be powered by the same SkyActiv engines as the four-door version.
It’s not known if the Mazda6 coupe will be sold in the U.S. Mazda previewed the next-generation Mazda6 with the Takeri concept at this year’s Tokyo Motor Show.
