Last year the C-HR debuted as a Scion concept at the LA Auto Show, but now that Scion is gone, the C-HR will be badged as a Toyota. When it goes on sale the aggressively styled crossover will only be offered in two trim levels, XLE and XLE Premium. It will come standard with 18-inch alloy wheels, dual-zone climate control, supportive bucket seating, 7-inch audio display, and Toyota Safety Sense P. If you step up to the XLE Premium model you’ll get Blind Spot Monitor and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, heated front seats, auto fold side mirrors and Smart Key with Push Button Start.

Under the hood the C-HR will be powered by a 2.0L four-cylinder that generates 144 horsepower and 140 lb-ft. of torque. The four-cylinder sends its power to the front wheels via a CVT that features a simulated 7-speed Sequential Shiftmatic. Toyota makes no mention about an all-wheel drive version, which is a bit odd for a vehicle that is labeled a crossover.
