On the outside the new Fiesta’s styling doesn’t stray too far from the current model, with its body becoming more sculpted. Inside the new Fiesta features an 8‑inch floating touchscreen and Ford’s SYNC 3 infotainment system and a B&O Play Sound System.

Ford hasn’t revealed all the powertrain options for the new Fiesta, but the 1.0L there-cylinder will return. The new three-cylinder will be the first three-cylinder engine in the world to feature cylinder deactivation. The technology can disengage or re-engage the cylinder in 14 milliseconds and when only two cylinders are working a dual-mass flywheel and vibration-damping clutch disc will help reduce unnecessary vibrations.
