Nissan has announced the pricing for the 2017 GT-R Nismo, which is priced at an astonishingly high $176,585. If you’ve been keeping a record of the GT-R’s pricing over the years, you will probably realize that the 2017 GT-R Nismo is now over $100k more expensive than the US-spec R35 GT-R that debuted back in 2007.

At $176,585 after the $1,595 destination fee has been added in, the 2017 GT-R Nismo is only about $10k more than the last year’s model. Also that price is pretty much the “out the door” price, since the only way it will go higher is if you choose the Super Silver or Pearl White paint colors, which raise the price by $3k and $1k, respectively.

What does the extra cost get you over last year’s model? While there aren’t any updates to the horsepower ratings, the aerodynamic upgrades will increase the amount of downforce. There are also updates to the suspension. Just as before the 2017 GT-R Nismo is powered by a 600-horsepower 3.8-liter twin turbo V6 that is rated at 600 horsepower and 481 lb-ft of torque.

If the GT-R Nismo is a bit out of your price range, the standard 2017 GT-R starts at $111,585.
