2017 Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe leaked ahead of its debut in Frankfurt

Photos of the 2017 Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe have leaked out just days after Mercedes-Benz officially revealed the standard-spec C-Class Coupe. Mercedes-Benz will likely unveil the C63 Coupe soon, ahead of its world debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month.

Photos of the 2017 Mercedes-AMG C63 Coupe have leaked out just days after Mercedes-Benz officially revealed the standard-spec C-Class Coupe. Mercedes-Benz will likely unveil the C63 Coupe soon, ahead of its world debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month.
The leaked photos reveal the C63 S Coupe, which will be the top spec version, since a slightly less powerful C63 Coupe will also be offered. There will also be a new Black Series version at some point. Compared to the C-Class Coupe, the C63 gets a more muscular body with a wider track. It’s flared fenders, more aggressive front fascia and rear air diffuser let you know that this isn’t just a regular C-Class Coupe.

Under the hood the C63 will be offered with a twin-turbocharged 4.0L V8 that will generate 469 horsepower and 379 lb-ft. of torque in the standard C63, while the C63 S will have a bit more power at 503 horsepower and 516 lb-ft. of torque. The V8 will be mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission.
