The 2017 Trax gets a new face that takes cues from other new models, like the Malibu and Cruze. It’s softer and more refined than the 2016 model with its dual port grille and sleeker headlights. The rear of the 2017 Trax also gets updated taillights.

Inside the instrument panel has been restyled with Chevy’s signature dual-cockpit design. The redesigned center instrument panel features greater visibility of a new 7-inch-diagonal MyLink color touch screen and Galvano chrome trim has been added to the instrument panel and console. The 2017 Trax will also be offered with new safety technology, like side blind zone alert, rear cross traffic alert, forward collision warning and lane departure warning systems.

Under the hood, the Trax continues with its 1.4L turbocharged four-cylinder engine that generates 138 horsepower and 148 lb-ft. of torque.
