Chevy has announced the updates to the 2016 Silverado HD pickups, which now offer new technologies, like integrated cruise control, powertrain grade braking and diesel exhaust braking.

A new digital steering assist power steering system also makes driving the big truck easier, since the system features electronic controls that enhance road holding and stability on the highway.

A new Gooseneck/5th Wheel Trailering Prep package makes Silverado HD models ready to tow larger trailers right from the factory. The package a frame-mounted hitch platform and tray that accommodates a gooseneck ball hitch or fifth wheel hitch mounting brackets, as well as a cargo bed-mounted trailer harness.
Inside the 2016 Silverado HD will offer Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability, as well as wireless phone charging.
