This weekend Ford officially unveiled the updated 2015 Ford Focus ST at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Ford also used the event to debut the first ever diesel-powered Focus ST at the event.
In Europe buyers will now be able to choose between the standard 247-hp gas-powered Focus ST or the new diesel model. The Focus ST Diesel is powered by a 182-hp 2.0L diesel engine with 295 lb-ft. of torque. The Focus ST Diesel reaches 0-62 mph in 8.1 seconds, which is a bit slower than the 6.5 seconds it takes for the gas powered Focus ST. Ford says that the Focus ST Diesel is the most fuel-efficient and has the lowest CO2 emissions of any Ford performance car, ever.
