The 2015 X3 is available with one diesel and two gasoline engines. The 240-hp xDrive28i and 300-hp xDrive35i models return, but now buyers can choose the new X3 xDrive28d diesel, which is powered by a 180-hp 2.0L diesel engine with 280 lb-ft. of torque. The diesel engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and accelerates the X3 xDrive28d from 0-60 mph in under eight seconds. Also if you don’t need all-wheel-drive, BMW has introduced the new 240-hp X3 sDrive28i model, which only sends it power to the rear wheels.
