Acura is set to debut a prototype version of the 2015 TLX sedan at the Detroit Auto Show next month. The 2015 TLX will be the replacement for the current TL and TSX. Acura hasn’t released any photos of the 2015 TLX, but it does say that it will “feature more emotional styling with tidier, sports sedan proportions.” The 2015 TLX will also be offered with the choice of two powertrains.
“This all-new Acura TLX is the perfect blend of style and muscle with its elegant, well-proportioned exterior that cloaks the true sport sedan chassis and powertrain beneath,” said Mike Accavitti, senior vice president, American Honda Motor, Co., Inc. “The sporty characteristics that customers found appealing in the TSX are even more pronounced in this aggressive new TLX.”

The 2015 Acura TLX will also get a new transmission and available front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations. The 2015 TLX prototype, which will be a thinly disguised version of the production TLX will debut on January 14.
