MINI is going to officially unveil the all-new 2014 MINI Cooper next week, but in the meantime MINI has released a new promo video of the new Cooper. The 2014 Cooper is going to debut on November 18 on a new platform and with new three and four-cylinder engines.
The 2014 Cooper is going to ride on BMW’s new UKL1 platform, which will also be used for a new line of front-wheel-drive BMWs. The new Cooper is expected to be slightly bigger than the second generation, but should also be lighter thanks to the use of more high-strength steel. It’s been confirmed that the 2014 Cooper will be offered with a 1.5L three-cylinder engine with 134 bhp and a 2.0L four-cylinder with 189-hp.
