Chevy has unveiled the 2014 Chevy Cruze Clean Diesel, which will arrive this summer starting at $25,695. The Cruze Clean Diesel is powered by a 2.0L clean diesel engine that packs 148 horsepower and gets up to 42 mpg on the highway.
The Cruze Clean Diesel’s new 2.0L turbo-diesel engine produces 148 horsepower and 258 lb-ft torque with 0-60 performance of 8.6 seconds, which is better than the Volkswagen Jetta TDI automatic. Cruze Clean Turbo Diesel’s emissions will be below stringent U.S. environmental standards including Tier 2 Bin 5 emissions standards.
