MINI officially gave us a preview of the Paceman with the Paceman concept last year. The production version looks pretty much identical to the concept. The two-door Paceman has room for up to four passengers. With the rear seats up, the Paceman has 11.6 cubic feet of trunk space, but with the seats folded it expands to 38 cubic feet.

Under the hood, the Paceman will be offered with the same engines as the rest of the MINI lineup. This includes the 122 horsepower 1.6L and 184-hp 1.6L engines. Buyers in Europe also have the choice of two diesel engines: a 112-hp 1.6L and a more powerful 143-hp 2.0L. The Paceman comes standard with front-wheel-drive, but the ALL4 all-wheel-drive system is optional.
