The MINI Countryman has only been on the market for two years, but for the 2013 model year, MINI’s crossover is getting a few updates.
The MINI Countryman has only been on the market for two years, but for the 2013 model year, MINI’s crossover is getting a few updates. Most people probably won’t notice the updates, but on the inside there are newly designed rings encircling the Center Speedo and four air vents, which will be presented across the board in the color shade Carbon Black and also have an inner ring in high-gloss black or – as part of the Chrome Line Interior option – in chrome. The armrests have also been redesigned and the window controls have been moved from the center console to the doors.
Buyers can also choose between two new colors: Brilliant Copper metallic and Blazing Red metallic. MINI also states that the equipment packages have been reconfigured to make it easier to customize the MINI Countryman.
The base MINI Countryman is powered by a 121-hp 1.6 liter, four cylinder, while the turbocharged Cooper S engine packs 181 hp. If you want even more power, the MINI John Cooper Works Countryman is powered by a turbocharged 208 hp engine. The ALL4 all-wheel-drive system is standard on the John Cooper Works Countryman is also available as an option for the MINI Cooper S Countryman.
