Toyota has chosen the this week’s Frankfurt Motor Show to debut the restyled 2012 Toyota Prius.

The 2012 Toyota Prius gets updates to the exterior and interior. On the outside the Prius gets a revised front bumper with an enlarged lower grille that gives the Prius a more dynamic face. Daytime running lights have been integrated into the bumper and the headlights have been restyled with revised LED lights. The rear of the 2012 Prius gets revised taillights.

On the inside the 2012 Prius gets a higher quality interior thanks to a new color scheme that has gone from dark grey to black. Silver inserts have been added and the seat fabrics have been upgraded. Other changes to the interior include a revised push start button that is now hybrid blue and the multi-information display has been improved with a 16 gradation-step Vacuum Fluorescent Display (VFD) which gives a clearer and more three dimensional display.

The 2012 Prius doesn’t get any changes under the hood.
