Spy photos of the upcoming 2009 Mercedes-Benz GLK SUV have been captured. The new SUV is based on the C-Class and will compete against the BMW X3 and Land Rover LR2 SUVs.
The 2009 GLK takes many styling cues from the larger GL-class SUV. The “K” stands for klein, which is small in German.
It is not known when the exact date is that this SUV will be unveiled and if it will actually make it to the US. It would make sense here though due to the rising fuel prices (see related story).
