The official unveiling of the all-new Mitsubishi EVO X is right around the corner. This means that the first photos of the car are finally showing up on the internet. Some of the larger automotive publications have already posted their initial reviews of the awesome car.

Thanks to Edmunds Inside Line we have our first view of the all-wheel-drive turbo EVO X and some of the initial specs.

The new EVO X has been stretched 1 inch, it is also 1.2 inches taller and 1.6 inches wider than the last generation. The US is going to get two versions of the car, the GSR and MR. The GSR is the base model and comes with a 5-speed manual and 18 inch Enkei wheels. The top of the line MR model comes with HID headlights, Bilstein dampers, and the Twin Clutch-Sequential Sportshift Transmission (TC-SST).

Estimated output of the US spec version is 295 horsepower and 300 lb-ft. of torque.

The big plus is that for the first time the US version of the car will not differ much from the car that is going to be sold in other countries.

Pricing is expected to be about $2,000 more than the previous version or about $30,000 for the GSR and close to $40,000 for the MR model.
