Last month MINI confirmed that it will release a new fully electric car in 2019. While the new electric car will be based on the three-door MINI, the brand is going to reportedly preview the new EV next month at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

Details are scarce at the moment, but Autocar is reporting that the new concept car will debut at the show. The three-door MINI electric car will be built at the brand’s plant in Cowley, Oxfordshire in the U.K. MINI hasn’t released any specs about the electric car’s powertrain, but it is expected to have a driving range over 200 miles.

In addition to the new three-door electric car, MINI plans on electrifying more of its lineup in the future, which started with the Countryman plug-in hybrid earlier this year.
