We’re just about a week away from the 2018 Beijing Motor Show and Mercedes-Benz has announced what it’s bringing to the show. One of the big debuts will be the Vision Mercedes-Maybach Ultimate Luxury concept, which is teased here, while the second big debut will be the A-Class sedan.

Mercedes-Benz hasn’t revealed too many details about the Vision Mercedes-Maybach Ultimate Luxury concept, but the brand says that it combines the strengths of a sedan and SUV. The concept is expected to be a preview of the next-generation Mercedes-Benz GLS, which will be offered with a more luxurious and expensive Maybach version. It’s rumored that the production version will debut in November at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

The second big debut will be the production version of the A-Class sedan, that Mercedes-Benz says is “produced in China for China,” which hints at it being a special long wheelbase version of the sedan. The compact sedan will also get the new MBUX infotainment system and driving assistance systems on a par with the S‑Class.
