Lincoln and Shinola have teamed up to create a very special version of the Lincoln Aviator, called the Aviator Shinola concept. It not only looks more luxurious on the outside, but inside the interior has been elevated with inspiration from Shinola.

Lincoln Aviator Shinola Concept

Lincoln says that it visited Shinola’s flagship showroom in Detroit to find inspiration for the Aviator Shinola concept. The inspiration came from a watch, a duffle bag and a bike seat. On the outside the exterior has been inspired by a watch with its soft white exterior is inspired by Shinola’s mother of pearl stone watch dials.  Copper accents, inspired by the copper-plated structure that attaches to a Shinola Runwell bike seat were also added.

Inside we see even more inspiration from Shinola thanks to the addition of Shinola whiskey leather. The seats also feature creme suede inserts that recall Shinola’s watches.

“Designers from both brands came together to create an ultra-luxe vehicle that still embodies Shinola’s aesthetic of approachable luxury with thoughtful details. You can see this in the touches of copper inspired by our bike seats and the brand strip incorporated into the leather seats,” said Shannon Washburn, Shinola CEO.

Lincoln has not announced any plans to build a Shinola version of the Aviator, but the concept will be shown off this month at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California.
