Kia is making a few changes to the 2019 Kia Rio lineup. The 2019 Rio loses the EX trim level and if you wanted a manual transmission, you’re now out of luck, since the Rio is no longer available with a manual.
The 2018 Kia Rio was available in LX, S and EX trim levels, but for the 2019 model year Kia has simplified its lineup. The 2019 Rio sedan is now available in LX and S trim levels, while the hatchback only comes in the S trim level.
The 2019 Rio S trim level now comes standard with a 7-inch touchscreen with UVO Play, plus Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A backup camera is also standard on the S trim level.
The base 2019 Rio LX sedan starts at $16,195, with the destination fees included, while the S sedan starts at $16,995. The 2019 Rio S hatchback starts at $17,295.
