Hyundai has announced the pricing for the 2012 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid, which starts at $26,610 after the delivery fees. The 2012 model is only $55 more than the 2011.

The 2012 Sonata Hybrid looks just like the 2011 model, but for the new year it gets Hyundai’s new Blue Link telematics system standard. A new optional Leather Package ($1,500) offers leather seating surfaces, leather steering wheel and shift knob, heated front and rear seats, and auto-dimming rearview mirror with HomeLink. The Ultimate Package ($5,500) includes the Leather Package and adds a panoramic sunroof, 17-inch alloy wheels, navigation system, Infiniti audio system and a backup camera.

The Sonata Hybrid is powered by a hybrid system that pairs a 2.4L Atkinson four-cylinder and six-speed automatic transmission with an electric motor and lithium polymer battery. It gets 40 mpg on the highway and 35 mpg in the city.
