Cadillac hasn’t unveiled the US-spec 2020 XT5, but the Chinese-spec version has been unveiled.
On the outside, the 2020 Cadillac XT5 borrows many styling cues from the Escala concept. The grille, side mirrors, rear spoiler and rear wiper have been redesigned to make the XT5 more fuel efficient and quieter. If you choose the Luxury trim level it adds Galvano exterior accents on the grille, roof rails and side windows. The Sport trim features gloss black accents.
In China the 2020 XT5 is powered by a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine that’s mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission.
Inside the XT5 has some updated tech features like a Bose Performance sound system, Apple CarPlay and Baidu CarLife. The 2020 XT5 also has 14 upgraded active and passive safety features, like Forward and reverse automatic Braking, lane change alert with side blind zone alert, lane keep assist with lane departure warning, following distance indicator and night vision.
