BMW has unveiled the refreshed 2023 X7 SUV, which gets some small styling changes and some interior upgrades.
Starting on the outside, the biggest change are the new split headlights, which flank a restyled grille. The lower front fascia also has been restyled to make it look a bit more aggressive. At the rear the taillights have also been updated.
Inside the dashboard is now dominated by a floating curved display that combines a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster with a 14.9-inch infotainment screen. The new display is similar to what you’ll find in the iX electric SUV. The center console has also been redesigned.
There will be two versions when the 2023 X7 arrives this fall. The base is the X7 xDrive401, which is powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-6 with 375 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque, which is an improvement of 40 hp and 52 lb-ft. from the previous X7 xDrive40i. The X7 M60i is powered by a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 with 523 hp and 553 lb-ft. of torque. Both engines are mated to a mild-hybrid system and an 8-speed automatic transmission.
The pricing for the 2023 BMW X7 xDrive40i starts at $78,845, including destination, while the M60i version starts at $104,095. An updated Alpina XB7 will arrive in early 2023.
