The BMW iX3 electric crossover has only been out for two years, but BMW has decided to give it a small facelift. BMW also gave the gasoline and diesel powered X3 a facelift, so this early facelift on the iX3 likely aligns with that.

On the outside the double kidney grille has been restyled, which are now a little bigger than before. The good news is that the grille is no where near as polarizing as it is on the 4 Series or X7. The iX3’s face also gets new headlights that are about 10 millimeters slimmer. At the rear the taillights have also been updated.

The iX3 now comes standard with the M Sport Package and it rides on either 19-inch alloy wheels or new M-branded 20-inch aerodynamic wheels.

Inside there’s a new 12.3-inch infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital screen in front of the driver. The center console has also been updated with some of the switchgear being tinkered with and the gear selector getting an update.

There aren’t any powertrain updates, so the iX3 is still powered by a single electric motor at the rear axle that generates 282 horsepower and 295 pound-feet. It has a driving range up to 286 miles on Europe’s WLTP cycle.
