BMW is almost ready to reveal the all-new 2019 BMW Series, but before that happens BMW is putting the new sedan through the last phase of tests.
This includes driving 3 Series prototypes out to Death Valley in Nevada for a series of hot weather tests where the temperature reaches as high as 122 degrees Fahrenheit. You might recall that BMW also recently took the upcoming 8 Series convertible to the same spots for its last tests.
To test all the electronics in the 2019 BMW 3 Series, BMW also took the new sedan to Hoover Dam where the electromagnetic rays emitted by the hydroelectric plant represent the ultimate test of strength for the reliability of the electronic systems. BMW also took the new 3 Series to Sweden for a series of cold weather tests and no test would be complete without putting the sedan through the paces on the Nürburgring’s Nordschleife circuit.
BMW hasn’t announced when the 2019 BMW Series will debut, but it should be soon.
