Audi has confirmed that it’s working on a RS 5 Sportback and the good news is that this RS model is coming to the United States. In a recent interview with Roadshow, Audi of America President Scott Keogh revealed that the RS 5 Sportback will be offered in the U.S. and he also revealed that another “secret” RS model is in the works.

The RS 5 Sportback will be based on the regular A5 Sportback, but under the hood it will be powered by the same 2.9L turbocharged V6 as the RS 5 coupe. The V6 generates a healthy 450 horsepower and 443 lb-ft. of torque and its mated to an 8-speed automatic that sends the power to all four wheels.

Audi hasn’t confirmed when we’ll see the RS 5 Sportback, but there have been reports that we could see it at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show in March.

As for the “secret” RS model, that’s a little more up in the air, but an RS Q5 could be a possibility. What would be even more awesome is if Audi decided to bring the RS 4 Avant to the U.S.
