Audi finally unveiled the 2019 Audi e-tron electric crossover just over a week ago and now Audi is saying that it’s already received over 10,000 pre-orders.
According to Lahouari Bennaoum, Director of Audi France, the response to the e-tron has been positive with over 10,000 pre-orders worldwide. Production of the e-tron kicked off in Belgium before it debuted last week at the special event in San Francisco.
The 2019 e-tron starts at $75,795 and buyers can place a $1,000 reservation now to get in line for the electric crossover. Audi recently announced that it has no plans to stock the e-tron at its dealers, which basically means that buyers will have to order it and then wait for it to arrive. Based on demand, it could take months for each e-tron reservation holder to get their e-tron once delivers start.
