The all-new 2013 Audi A3 is having its world debut this week at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. We’ve already seen leaked photos of the new A3, so what you see here isn’t a big surprise.

The all-new A3 doesn’t stray too far from the design of the current A3 and borrows many of Audi’s current design cues, including the new more aggressive headlights. The 2013 A3 rides on VW’s new modular MQB platform and is about the same size as the current A3, but is a bit wider with a slightly longer wheelbase.

The interior of the new A3 closely resembles the smaller A1. It also gets a new MMI infotainment system that is smaller than before. The system centers around a touchwheel thatcombines the touchpad functionality of the system offered in the A6 and A8 models, but with a scroll wheel that is used on the current A3. The interior also gets a new Audi Phone Box system that offers contactless technology that improves phone connectivity. Unfortunately it doesn’t yet offer contactless charging.

When the A3 launches in Europe in the spring it will launch with three four-cylinder engines. The 1.4L (122 hp), 1.8L (180 hp) and the 2.0L TDI with 150 hp.
