Aston Martin isn’t quite ready to unveil the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera, but today several photos of the Vanquish replacement have leaked online early. The DBS Superleggera is based on the DB11, but as you can see here there are several changes.
At the front the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera has a more aggressive face, while at the rear the taillights are sleeker and quad exhausts let you know that this is something special. Carbon fiber has been used more to reduce the DBS Superleggera’s weight by 160 pounds, bringing its final weight down to 3,733 pounds.
Under the hood DBS Superleggera is powered by a 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 that’s expected to generate 715 horsepower and 664 lb-ft. of torque. The V12 sends all that power to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Following the debut of the DBS Superleggera, Aston Martin will release a convertible version in early 2019, called the DBS Superleggera Volante.
