Acura is going to reveal the 2019 Acura RDX prototype this week, which is basically the production version of the all-new RDX with a few changes. The first photos of the 2019 RDX have already surfaced online ahead of its debut.
The all-new 2019 Acura RDX will be the third generation of one of Acura’s most popular models. According to Acura, the new RDX signals the beginning of a new era for the Acura brand and the 2019 RDX is receiving the most extensive Acura redesign in more than a decade.
From these first photos we can see that the 2019 Acura RDX will feature a sleeker and sportier exterior. Under the skin the 2019 RDX will switch to a new platform, since it will no longer share its parts with the Honda CR-V.
We’ll have all the details tomorrow when the 2019 Acura RDX prototype debuts at the Detroit Auto Show.
