Toyota has officially kicked off production of the all-new 2018 Toyota Camry at its plant in Kentucky. The 2018 Camry, which will start arriving this summer has been revamped from the ground up to help keep it on top of a declining segment.

The 2018 Camry is Toyota’s first vehicle in North America built on the Toyota New Global Architecture platform a completely new strategy to the way the company designs, engineers, and manufactures its vehicles.

“The launch of the next-generation Camry is important for Toyota in America, and expands the company’s footprint in and commitment to Kentucky,” said Wil James, president, TMMK. “We are proud to be the first in North America to produce a vehicle with TNGA. It’s a testament to the skill and dedication of our team members.”
The 2018 Toyota Camry is starts at $24,380 and will be offered in five trim levels L, LE, XLE, SE and XSE. Buyers can choose from a 206-hp 2.5L four-cylinder, a 301-hp 3.5L V6 or a hybrid powertrain.
