2016 Toyota Mirai Fuel-Cell Vehicle Priced at $57,500 or Lease for $499

Toyota Officially Names its 2016 Fuel-Cell Vehicle the Mirai

As expected, Toyota has officially announced the name of its upcoming 2016 fuel-cell vehicle, which will be called the Mirai. According to Toyota, Mirai, which means "future" in Japanese, represents a turning point for the automotive industry.

Honda's New Fuel-Cell Vehicle is Delayed Until 2016

Last year Honda announced plans to introduce its new fuel-cell vehicle in 2015, but now Honda has revealed that those plans have been delayed until 2016. Also with the announcement of the delay, Honda has also revealed an updated version of the FCV concept, which previews the production version that will go on sale in Japan in March 2016.

Toyota FCV to Enter this Year's Japanese Rally Championship

Toyota has announced that its new fuel cell vehicle will be put through its paces in the final installment in this year's Japanese Rally Championship, the 177 mile Shinshiro Rally held in Aichi Prefecture on November 1 and 2. The Toyota FCV that has been specially tuned and outfitted for rally racing will check the safety of the roads as a zero car.

I wake up from a nap to find myself sweating in a car with the A/C off in the middle of the California desert. No this isn't a nightmare, my driving partner and I are trying to reach it to San Diego, which is over 100 miles away, but our 2015 Audi A3 TDI's gas gauge says were almost on empty. Why couldn't we stop for fuel? Last week Audi invited 18 journalists out to Albuquerque, New Mexico to take part in its newest TDI Challenge. This isn't the first time that Audi has set up a mileage challenge, since a similar drive was done with the A6 and Q7 TDI diesel models, but this time the only model in the challenge would be the all-new A3 TDI.

2015 VW e-Golf Nabs Title as Most Efficient Compact EV

The 2015 VW e-Golf electric car has received an EPA rating of 126 MPGe city and 105 highway rating with a combined rating of 116 Miles per Gallon of Gasoline Equivalent (MPGe). It also has a range of up to 83 miles and compared to other compact electric vehicles, the e-Golf is the most efficient car in its compact class.

Dual Motor Tesla Model S Announced, Top S P85D Packs 691-HP

Toyota is Giving Away a Fuel Cell Vehicle!

2016 Cadillac CT6 Will Be Lighter the Than CTS and Gets a Plug-in Hybrid Version

Next fall Cadillac is slated to release its new flagship, the 2016 CT6 and now it's been confirmed that the CT6 will be offered with a plug-in hybrid version. The plug-in CT6 will reportedly offer "industry-leading fuel economy upwards of 70 mpg equivalent," and the CT6 will also be lighter than the current CTS.
