After several unconfirmed reports, Porsche has finally confirmed that it is working on a plug-in hybrid version of the 911. At the Detroit Auto Show, Erhard Mössle, the 911 turbo's engineering head, confirmed that the hybrid 911 is in the works.

Mercedes-Benz confirms hydrogen-powered GLC F-Cell is coming next year

Conversations around fuel-cell vehicles have increased significantly over the last few years, especially with the arrival of the Toyota Mirai and the upcoming Honda Clarity. BMW confirms i3 battery upgrade coming for the 2017 model year

Late last year reports started to surface that BMW is working on an upgrades for the i3 that will ultimately give it a much longer driving range. Now BMW has confirmed those reports, since Ian Robertson, BMW AG board member for sales and marketing recently revealed that the 2017 i3 will have a longer driving range.

VW ends Phaeton production, but an electric successor is coming around 2020

Although the Volkswagen Phaeton left the United States market about a decade ago, the full-size luxury sedan has continued to be sold in other markets. One of the big reasons that buyers stayed away from the Phaeton was because of its crazy starting price. In Germany, the Phaeton starts at a lofty 89,650 euros ($97,253). Well its finally done, since VW has confirmed that the Phaeton will end production next March.

One of the questions centered around the upcoming Model 3 and if it would too have the same Falcon wing doors as the Model X. "Not gonna lie, I'd sell my soul to @elonmusk for one. Please tell me the Model III crossover will have these doors!", stated AwesomelyOZ. Musk's response, "there will be a Model 3 and a Model Y. One of the two will."
