Rolls-Royce has confirmed that it will reveal the new 2018 Rolls-Royce Phantom later this month on July 27. The introduction of the 2018 Phantom marks the debut of the eighth-generation of the Phantom.

On July 27, Rolls-Royce is also going to show off the “Great Eight Phantoms” exhibition in London, which as its name suggests will display the new Phantom next to all the previous generations.

Some of the models that will be there will be the Phantom IV that belonged to the Aga Khan III –one of 18 such Phantoms built only for Royalty and Heads of State; and the First Goodwood Phantom VII. Queen Elizabeth II’s Phantom VI State Limousine will also be present.

What we know now about the Phantom is that it will be based on a new aluminum spaceframe, which will also be used for Rolls-Royce’s upcoming SUV, plus the next Ghost, Wraith and Dawn models.
