We’ve seen several spy shots of the all-new Cayenne and our team even managed to catch one testing in Las Vegas, but Porsche has yet to announce when it will debut. It’s now being reported that the next-generation 2018 Porsche Cayenne is going to debut on this month on August 29.

Car and Driver is reporting that Porsche will reveal the 2018 Cayenne this month with a new turbocharged V6 engine. A new turbocharged V8 is also planned, which will debut next month at the Frankfurt Motor Show. On the green side, the Cayenne will also get a V6 plug-in hybrid and maybe even a V8 plug-in. Will there be a diesel Cayenne? That’s not known, but even if a diesel Cayenne does end up being introduced, don’t plan on it coming to the United States, since Porsche has already given up on diesels here.

We’ll have more details soon.
