We’ve been waiting forever for Nissan to release some official information about the all-new Leaf electric car and now we’ve got something. Nissan has released the first teaser photo of the new Leaf electric car, which is going to debut later this year.

Today’s photo is the first of many teasers that Nissan has planned leading up to the new Leaf’s reveal later this year. The first photo teases the Leaf’s new headlights, which look more aggressive and interesting than the current model. From the recent spy photos of the new Leaf, expect its styling to draw inspiration from other models, like the Nissan Maxima.

Nissan has yet to reveal what other updates the new Leaf will get, but we’re expecting a much better driving range, which should help it compete better with the new Chevy Bolt. We’re expecting a driving range over 200 miles, which will be a significant increase from the current model’s 107-mile range.
