New York’s Time Square and Herald Square just got a little better thanks to a new ban on cars entering the area.
Sections of Broadway from 47th to 42nd streets and 35th to 33rd streets have been closed to cars to help reduce pollution, traffic and pedestrian accidents.
To celebrate the newly created pedestrian mall in Times Square a movie is going to be shown on a giant screen on Monday. There will also be street performers present.
