Ferrari has unveiled the new F12tdf, which it says pays tribute to the Tour de France endurance race that Ferrari dominated in the 1950s and 1960s, especially the 1956 250 GT Berlinetta.

The F12tdf is powered by a 6.3L V12 that’s been borrowed from the F12 Berlinetta, but its power has been upgraded from 730 horsepower to 769. It’s torque has also been increased to 520 lb-ft. Ferrari has also upgraded the dual clutch transmission, which now has 6% shorter gear ratios that deliver 30% faster upshifts and 40% faster downshifts.
The exterior has also been tweaked to make the F12tdf more aerodynamic. Thanks to the abundant use of lightweight carbon-fiber inside and out, the F12tdf drops 240 pounds. All of the upgrades give the F12tdf a 0-62 mph time of only 2.9 seconds and it will reach 124 mph in a quick 7.9 seconds before it reaches a top speed just over 211 mph.
Ferrari only plans on producing 799 units of the F12tdf.
