The original Viper went into production in 1992 and although it’s received several updates since then, sales have continued to decline. Through September, Dodge has only sold 503 Vipers in the U.S., which is down 7.9 percent from the same period last year. Last year Dodge gave the Viper a $15,000 price cut, but Dodge only sold 760 Vipers in 2014.

The automaker’s product plan doesn’t indicate that a replacement is in the works.
