For years wagons have been overshadowed by SUVs and minivans, but some automaker’s like Volvo have continued to offer them. Buick may soon enter the segment with a wagon version of the Regal. A new report claims that the next Regal will be offered with a wagon version.
According to GM Inside News, the upcoming Buick Regal wagon was recently shown during Buick- GMC’s annual dealer meeting. The news isn’t all that surprising since GM’s Opel division sells the Insignia, the European version of the Regal as a wagon in Europe. Buick hasn’t announced any formal details, but we may get a look at the new Regal wagon later this year when the all new Insignia debuts.

The next-generation Regal is expected to debut early next year at the Detroit Auto Show as a 2018 model, which will likely be followed by the wagon version.
