The all-new Rio gets a sharper exterior with many of the curves from the last generation being replaced by straight lines and smoother surfaces. At the front, the Rio gets the latest evolution of Kia’s ‘tiger-nose’ grille, now thinner in height and wider across the front of the car. The new Rio is 5 millimeters wider and 15 mm longer with 10 of those millimeters added between the wheels.

Inside, straight lines run the width of the dashboard giving the cabin a wider appearance and increasing the sense of space for occupants. The dashboard is now angled towards the driver, and features a new infotainment system, a ‘floating’ HMI (human-machine interface), with a touchscreen to power the Rio’s audio, navigation and new connectivity systems.
