2017 Jaguar XE 20d and 35t models confirmed for the U.S.

Jaguar has revealed the powertrain specs for the 2017 XE compact sedan that is slated to arrive in the U.S. in 2016.

Jaguar has revealed the powertrain specs for the 2017 XE compact sedan that is slated to arrive in the U.S. in 2016. When the XE arrives it will initially be offered in 20d and 35t models each in Premium, Prestige and R-Sport trim levels and available in RWD or AWD.
The Jaguar XE 35t is powered by a supercharged 3.0L V6 with 340 horsepower and 332 lb-ft. of torque. The V6 is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and is capable of accelerating the small sedan from 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds with an an electronically-limited top speed of 155 mph.

The Jaguar XE 20d is powered by Jaguar’s new Ingenium 2.0 liter diesel powertrain with 180 horsepower and 318 lb-ft. of torque. It’s also mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Jaguar says that the XE 20d will be the brand’s most fuel efficient model.
