2016 GMC Sierra All Terrain X is ready to get dirty

GMC has unveiled the 2016 Sierra All Terrain X, which is a special edition of the All Terrain model, that adds several new features to increase the pickup’s off-road capability.

GMC has unveiled the 2016 Sierra All Terrain X, which is a special edition of the All Terrain model, that adds several new features to increase the pickup’s off-road capability.

The new Sierra All Terrain X is offered on the 2016 Sierra 1500 4WD crew cab/short box models with SLT trim. In addition to the standard All Terrain content, the “X” package adds: Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac MT tires, 18-inch wheels, sport side steps, a bed-mounted sport bar, a monochromatic paint scheme and a performance exhaust system that bumps up the output of the 5.3L V-8 engine to 365 horsepower. The Sierra All Terrain X also come with a 4WD system with Eaton locking rear differential and the Z71 Off-Road suspension package with Rancho monotube shocks, high-capacity air cleaner, Hill Descent Control and underbody transfer case shield.

The Sierra All Terrain X will go on sale this spring.
