2016 BMW M5 Pure Metal Silver Limited Edition revealed

BMW has unveiled a very limited edition M5, which is only for the U.S. market – the 2016 M5 Pure Metal Silver Limited Edition. As its name suggests, the limited M5 Pure Metal Silver edition is painted in Pure Metal Silver, but it gets even more than a unique paint color.

BMW has unveiled a very limited edition M5, which is only for the U.S. market – the 2016 M5 Pure Metal Silver Limited Edition. As its name suggests, the limited M5 Pure Metal Silver edition is painted in Pure Metal Silver, but it gets even more than a unique paint color.
Under the hood, the M5 Pure Metal Silver Limited Edition gets 40 more horsepower than the standard M5 with a total 600 horsepower and 516 lb-ft. of torque. The 4.4 liter V8 is mated to a an M dual clutch transmission featuring Drivelogic giving the M5 a 0 to 60 mph time of only 3.9 seconds. It also comes standard with the Competiton Package, which has been enhanced to include 20-inch forged wheels. The Competition Package includes a lowering of the vehicle by 0.4 inches and a firmer setup of the spring damper systems and stabilizers.

Inside the full leather Merino with contrast stiching and aluminum interior trim embelished with a Pure Metal Silver M5 1/50 badge signifying that the unique M5 is only one of the 50 produced.

Pricing for the 2016 BMW M5 Pure Metal Silver Limited Edition starts at $131,895. Only 50 will be produced.
