Kia America has announced official pricing for the all-new 2024 Kia EV9 three-row electric SUV.

Arriving in the fourth quarter of this year with standard seating for up to seven people, the 2024 Kia EV9 will start at $54,900 (excluding destination) for the base EV9 Light RWD. Standard equipment will include DC fast-charging capability, SynTex leather-trimmed seating, 19-inch alloys, and heated and ventilated front seats. Additionally, all models of the 2024 Kia EV9 will come standard with 20 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, including an enhanced Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist system able to detect vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists under certain circumstances. Power for this model will come from a single permanent magnet synchronous electric motor producing 215 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque.

The 2024 Kia EV9 will also come in Light Long Range, Wind, Land, and GT-Line, though pricing for those trims will be announced at a later date.

The 2024 Kia EV9 will initially be produced in South Korea before production is shifted to Kia’s new West Point, Georgia, plant sometime in 2024. Due to origin and sourcing requirements, this may affect the initial model’s eligibility for various state and federal discounts.

The 2024 Kia EV9 is slightly longer than the Kia Telluride and nearly the same height and width. The 2024 Kia EV9 also features similar styling to the Telluride with upright, boxy styling, which has proved quite popular with consumers. Inside, customers will be treated to standard 12.3-inch screens and a futuristic interior featuring “hidden-until-lit” haptic switchgear.
