Kia is reportedly working on a more powerful version of the popular Kia Soul with the turbocharged 1.6L from the Kia Forte SX Turbo and Hyundai Veloster Turbo. The 1.6L generates 201 horsepower, which would be a nice increase over the 130-hp and 164-hp engines that are currently offered under the Soul's hood.

The 2015 Hyundai Genesis Coupe continues on mostly unchanged for the new model year, with the biggest change being the deletion of the base turbocharged four-cylinder. Even as the 2015 Ford Mustang and possibly even the next-generation Chevy Camaro introduce four-cylinder engines, Hyundai has decided to delete the four-cylinder engine, since it wants to make the Genesis Coupe appeal to a more premium sports car buyer.

The last time we drove the Kia Soul was back in 2012 and although it has been one of Kia's best selling models, we dinged it for its cheap feeling interior, loud road noise and bouncy suspension. Now in its second-generation the 2014 Kia Soul has been completely redesigned, but keeps that same boxy shape that has made it almost as famous as the dancing hamsters that are supposed to make you want to by it.
