Jeep is going to reveal the all-new 2018 Jeep Wrangler at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November, but a leak from FCA’s dealership system has provided some of the details early. JL Wrangler Forums have posted several tidbits of information about the new Wrangler.
According to the forums, a leak from the CA’s dealership system has revealed that the new Wrangler will be offered with a power soft top and three engine options. The base engine will be a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder, while a 3.6L V6 will be offered in addition to a 3.0L V6 turbo diesel engine. Buyers will be able to choose between a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission.
The documents also reveal that the 2018 Wrangler will be offered in five versions, including the two-door Wrangler Sport and Rubicon, plus the five door Wrangler Unlimited Sport, Sahara, and Rubicon. The one model missing from the mix is the two-door Wrangler Sahara.
Inside, the 2018 Jeep Wrangler will offer Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity and an Alpine audio system. Some of the color options include, Granite Crystal Metallic, Acid Yellow, Firecracker Red, Billet Silver and Nacho.
